for the Community BBQ & Family Fun Day! - Posted July 03
The
Kingswood Family BBQ & Fun Day was a great success! Thanks
to the hard work of the Kingswood Ratepayer Association and a
large number of volunteers the event was a hit with both kids
and parents alike.
The
fun-filled day inlcuded the Large Rocky Mountain Bounce, a Harry
Potter Bounce, Chuckles the Clown and lots more fun field activities.

to the BBQ committee who worked behind the scenes to make things
happen. The committe consisted of Rosey Elizondo, Rhonda LeBlanc,
Rosann Wells, Lynn MacKendrick, Brian MacEachen and his team of
young activity planners, along with Marlene Fairhurst-Vaughan
as coordinator of the event. Working with the committee to assist
with prizes and sponsorships was Cheryl Castellani and Barb Holmes.
A special thanks
and recognition to the volunteers who gave up their time, some
for the whole three hours, to work an activity, face paint or
BBQ so as our community could enjoy a fun-filled sunny afternoon!
And finally
thanks to all the residents who made an effort to attend the community
bbq. We realize that everyone has busy lives and that sometimes
it takes an effort to get the children packed up and ready to
go. Thanks for your participation...it wouldn't be the same without
you!
