Primroses

Primroses are a vibrant, and early blooming perennials. They are
happiest in low-light, moist areas of the garden. Primroses bloom in
rainbow of colors returning year after year sending up more blooms
each year. There are wonderful varieties of English and Japanese
primroses available, which do quite well in our climate.
One word of
caution, if you want plants that will come back year after year, best
to stay away from the grocery store variety. These plants are raised
for lots of quick bloom and often are too worn out and tender for our winters.
